Default AUX jack

question for anyone out there...i recently noticed that i have a AUX button on my factory radio/dash but there is no AUX jack. my trucks an 07 xlt. i have two questions for all you guys, 1) is there supposed to be a jack already installed? 2) if i need to install one how do i go about that and how much will it run?

U just have to pop the radio out and buy a aux cord from walmart, plug it in to the aux cord coming from your radio, find a place to make it come out and put ur radio back in

On the back of the factory h.u. Is it an auxiliary plug or is it 2 RCA's ?

I thought all 2007 F150's had the AUX jack... should be at the top of that dash....

It is on top of the dash...in the black tray...

There is no jack on the back of the radio

Neither, it is four wires coming out of the middle connector.

Because the aux didn't come out until 07. You'll need to buy a PIE FRD04-AUX for $80 or so

I had an 04 xlt and bought this unit. It worked for my radio because it had an aux button on the radio console. Plugged my sat radio and then my iPod touch to the connection that I routed to the glove Box. Sold the truck so no pics. http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrd04aux.html. Bought mine from crutchfield since I couldn't get shipped to Canada
