Default AUX button on stereo

Hi all,
I have had my 2004 FX4 for a few months now and on the stereo head unit there is a AUX button. (it is the stock head unit.) There are no signs of a AUX port/plug or anything. I hit the button and it says no AUX recognized. I was wondering if there is somewhere I didn't look that maybe the plug might be? or why would they even put the button there if it leads to nothing??
THANKS

They used the same radio in the later model years. The AUX button on my '08 switched to the 3.5mm port above the radio in the black tray (not present on your '04) and also cycled through the Sirius radio (also not present on your '04).

I'd say don't worry about it or you can always switch to an aftermarket radio that has the features you want.
