I was gonna say throw in the load resistors for those that stay slightly lit. Some LEDs do that and some don't.

All LEDs are made in China as far as I know except Jon_To's. I was told that Jon_To's LEDs are made in US.

There is nothing wrong with your LEDs they are just being efficient which is how they were designed. Lights are staying on because your lighting circuit is expecting a load and in not finding one its thinking there is nothing there to turn off. Simplest fix is likely what others have recommended which is to place a regular bulb somewhere in the circuit. Other solution would be including a resistor somewhere in the circuit. I would measure the resistance of a regular bulb and find a resistor of simular value and add to circuit. A 1/2 watt 1k ohm resistor will probably do the trick

i got these from Jon_to and when i turn off just the dome light the map lights get brighter as do the cargo lights, when the dome light is in the setting to go on when i open doors/unlock the turck all the leds (map, dome and cargo) lights are slightly glowing. so exactly where do i put in this resistor and will it really work??? thanks again

other than the glowing when they arnt on....i like them very much just want to know if anyone else has fixed this problem on their truck and how they did it.
