I think the only problem people really have with them is not being properly sealed. So just run a nice thick bead around them and you should be good to go.

I just would be leery of buying them because if they weren't manufactured with moisture in mind (do trucks get wet?), what else did they skimp on. Just my 2 cents.

New to the site and couldn't help myself.im pretty sure those lights are illegal because they do not have the amber side reflectors.

If you're not buying exact OEM (original equipment manufactured) headlight assemblies, the chances are high that they will fog. In my experiences first hand, and in reading the countless posts on this subject here, if you bought them off of Ebay for around $100.00, they are cheap, and will fog. At $50.00, these are going to fog.

The best way is to buy factory original, or from a reputable site. At the risk of getting beat with a baseball bat, I'd suggest searching here to find good manufacturers or sites that sell them that did not fog up. Be prepared to pay alot more. There's a reason they are higher priced.

Others like myself have bought stock units, heated them in the oven to allow for the lens to be removed, painted the silver black, then used black silicone to seal. The oven trick works. The proceedure is written in the archives.

I've got those. They look good but my bulbs are dim as hell. Need to get some brighter ones.

I bought the black ones from this guy. I ran a bead of silicone around the entire light and haven't had any issues! I'd go for it.

depends on where you live and the laws there. I can have clear as long as they have amber bulbs or clear or blacked out tail lights as long as they light up red.
