Default Any simple sugestions?

I have an '06 4.6 with a 302 code. I know the code is a misfire in cylinder #2 so I moved the coil around to see if the code would follow. It did not. I pulled the plug and it was covered in oil and electrode burned out of it. ( I changed all plugs 6,000 miles ago) what should be my next step to figure out this misfire?
Thanks

The spark plug might be a symptom and not the cause. I'm leaning more toward a bad fuel injector. Good luck.

Do you think smoking the injector would help or not waste my time and just replace them?
