Default Any CONS to a level?

My new suspension parts should get here for the weekend. I am 100% stock 2wd suspension wise. The parts I ordered are simple replacement quick struts and shocks. I am wondering if I should use this as an excuse to level the truck 2". The question is, other than possibly wearing bushings faster, are there any cons in a 2wd truck with a level? PS- looking at this kit here.

If you tow on the regular, you’ll have a fair amount of negative rake. Some have went back and put 1” spacers in the rear. You may also have some premature wear on suspension parts. Proper maintenance and greasing will help extend life though.

Nothing you'll really notice. Like river said, just maintain as you've been doing.

Only advice I have to give is dont skimp out on a good alignment after doing it, and keep your ball joints greased.

Stock ball joints are un-serviceable

level it! level it!
I love the look of a leveled out truck, I don't haul often so the reverse rake doesn't bother me. Even when I've hauled heavy, it wasn't enough to warrant going back stock... just my opeeeeeniun

I used to have a 2” level a couple years back. I didn’t mnotice how it affected the ride because I liked how it looked. When I replaced the 2” level with a 1/2” level, the ride got noticeably better.

You could also get some Bilstein 5100's up front, or some other leveling strut assembly like the Fox 2.0. You'll get a level and it'll ride better than stock.

I started out with the hockey puck style level, and was fine with it. But once I switched to better shocks that also leveled, it was so much better.
