Default Another Wheel Thread

Quick Question.
I still haven't found wheels that I want to put on my 2007 F150 FX4, stock everything.
I am wondering if someone out there knows if the 17 x 8.5 Ford SVT Raptor wheels would fit. I don't need to run 315/70R 17s, but something a little smaller.
Thanks for your help.

As long as they are 6x135mm they will fit. 305x70 or 295x70's would look great on those wheels but truck would have to be leveled.

What size tires with these wheels would you recommend that wouldn't require a level kit. I am thinking BFG All Terrains.
Thanks.

There might be some debate about this, but I'm told that 285/70/17's MIGHT rub, but 275/70/17's definitely won't. I just ordered the 275's since I don't plan on leveling until the spring and I didn't want to take that chance that they'd rub.

I'm putting them on the stock XLT rims. I'll take some pics when they're on.

Here's my truck with 285x70x17 Toyo AT's on 17x8 wheel's. Truck is leveled 2 1/2 inches but has lot's of room to spare. I would think they can fit easily on a stock height 4x4.

Default Svt raptor wheels

Bought some RAPTOR wheels for my 08 screw xlt. I'm gonna have to change tie rods. Found out the 09 & up has an offset tie rod. I'm guessing for the deep 6" back spacing on the rim. Had em on the truck but can barely turn the wheel before the tie rod contacts the rims. Wasn,t a problem with the 8.5 x 20" rims because of the larger rim radius. Working on the swap now but found out the 09 & up uses different inner rod. Dont know why. Guessing it's a different length or different diameter rod. ANYONE KNOW???????? Still researching it.

I've been told by several people they should fit, including the dealer....I just purchased mine and I am getting ready to put tires on. I really hope they do fit...Anyone have any insight on this?

Nice truck!

Quick question: are those FX4 fender flares and how did you get them painted?
