Hello all, I was wondering if anybody has done any research on adding a factory handle keypad to their truck. I have added the stick on for the time being, (which works quite well I might add.) Eventually I want to put the factory one on. I was wondering what was involved and if the wiring was there. My theory, is since the option is only $75 it would not have a "special harness" and since it is only offered with trucks with power mirrors, that the harness would be "common" with the power mirror option. If the harness is there, how would the code be set. Possibly with an NGS? (diagnostics tester/programmer) which I can get to use. Has anybody ventured into this? I have a good friend checking into it also who (still) works at Ford's R and E center (where I used to work, till I got the "crappy economy" axe). Just thought I might use all of my info options any try this site also.
