Default AMP steps quit working

A few weeks back the AMP power running board quit deploying when I open the drivers side rear door.. The interior lights dont come on and neither does the "door ajar" warning. I tried replacing the door ajar sensor and that didnt help. I suppose it could be a bad or broken wire? I had no luck locating other options so hopefully one of yall might have some suggestions. If I cant fix it easily myself I will take it to a shop. The steps were too expensive to not be used. Thanks!

The steps deploy for the other three doors so I dont think its a fuse or relay.

if it is only the drivers side rear door causing this than it is probably something in the door, like a wire

I would say you need to get volt meter and start testing continuity on the wires, from the door ajar switch all the way back to the BCM, that's my guess where the wires go too, I have factory wiring manual diagrams, I`ll take look when I get home later from work.

I'm afraid it is a broken wire somewhere which will be fun to chase down.
