am i missing a lower grille?

also i have the lariat was tow hooks an option or did they just not come on that trim

 

Your not missing a lower grille. That's how my Lariat is.

 

yea there is a scree that looks like a smaller version of your grill

I have an 04 Lariat also and I have the tow hook so idk if your missing them or not but there is no lower grill unless you buy one.

 

Aren't tow hooks only on 4x4?

And I have a 07 Lariat .....no lower grill. Don't recall seeing any with it, unless it was aftermarket.

Tow hooks were standard on 4x4 models I believe. If you want them, you'll have to change your lower black "chin spoiler", as the hooks install at those two "indents". Look at a truck with the hooks, and you'll see what I mean. I installed a Roush chin spoiler on my 05 STX which created the openings. Since I did not like the look of just two "open pockets", I installed tow hooks.
