Default Airbag light problem

I just bought a 2005 f150 and discovered that the PO has disconnected the airbag warning lights. And was hoping some one could point me in the right direction on reconnecting them.

From other thread:
There is a recall on the 2004,2005, and some 2006 f150's...the issue is the airbag will just blow out on its own for no reason...its due to some kind of wiring short or issue that they "didnt think would effect anything". It has caused close to 100 incidents so far with accidents involved and some serious. Some people reported seeing the airbag warning light go on a little while before the airbag popping but some never had any warnings.

Im going to be getting to a dealer soon jist to see what the story is with this issue and to get it fixed.

Default recall work done

I had the recall work done but even though I told the dealer ship the PO had had disconnected the airbag light the failed to fix it when doing the recall work.

I figure since the dealer couldn`t get it right if I can fix it my self I will.

If you pull the face off (Simply grab from the bottom and pull) there is a connection back there if you are talking about the "Passenger Seatbelt OFF/ON" Light??

Unhappy not the seat belt light

Its not the seat belt light the PO disconnected both airbag lights.
I took it to ford and had gthe clock spring repair done.

Even though I told the shp that the air bag lights had been disconnected and I wanted that fixed as well they didn't fix the light problem .

There's a fuse that controls the airbag light itself. The PO may have just taken it out. That would be the first thing I'd check. See your manual to find the number (I can't remember which one it is) and the fusebox is on the right side of the passenger foot rest area.
