I've heard a lot of good about volant.
The problem I have with my 2006 crew cab 5.4 is it just doesn't have that off the line jump. It's sad how many trucks can easily beat me ha
I have a flow master exhaust and I also installed a auto chips direct chip.
Just yesterday I also cut off all of the excess plastic tubing on the side of my air intake that was just there to muffle sound.
So if anyone has a way to really make a 5.4 go fast please let me know. With a reasonable price

Search for the Gotts mod. Volant has a decent filtering filter in the Powercore, but still changes the MAF to warrant custom tuning. If the underhood bling and two horse gain is worth it along with the need to get custom tunes then get the intake. If you like a cheap, effective intake do the Gotts.

Why can’t his question just be answered without a pissing match? He also said nothing about water. Maybe since he is in California he wants it to raise the breather up so he isn’t sucking in sand and dirt in the desert? Either way, it’s his truck.
