^^ whatever you say man, im no dumby by any means i dont care to put the time into the research that you claim in the above statement, if its all true and everything else good for you, but dont come on here slinging big words to try to make people feel dumb because we questioned a claim by a person, im sure if i felt the need to sit down and work equations for the fluid flow through a air cleaner i could but i have better things to do tonight, engineering takes up enough of my time as it is

This is one of many sites http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/airfilter/airtest1.htm I have swapped many dusted 7.3 di motors and turbos, countless numbers of mass air flow sensors for contamination issues caused by these oil coated filters. Ford Has performed many tests and have shown that a paper filter will protect a engine from damage better then K&n... K&N says there filter flows better but what is more important flow or protection ? I know this is strictly a persons opinon but working on fords for 19 years I have to stick with a paper filter...

Im not pushing anythingI don't really care I'm telling you my opinion you go ahead and keep using them and sooner or later Ill see you for an engine...

You can believe all the propaganda that K&N and all the other companies that sell aftermarket items... feel free to support them after all we live in the U.S.
