If you didn't have it charged after you put the different motor in, then that is most likely your problem.

Default 2004 FX4 A/C please help

I have a 2004 with the 5.4 L motor. I live in Texas and it's around the hundred degrees every day my air conditioning cannot keep up inside my truck. I have been in other trucks just like mine and her air conditioning is very cold. Should I replace the condenser, receiver drier, or the orifice tube? I have had the system suck down and recharge multiple times and It don't help. Compessor runs constantly.
Sincerely, sweating my butt off

Not to hi jack, but my a/c blows out warm to hot unless the manual temp. setting is all the way on cool. Same goes for heat. What the heck?
I know that I need airflow to get good cooling but it is the temp control that causes me problems. Wife gets real cold or hot.

Your blend door motor actuator is probably bad. Mine did the same and replaced the motor and been fine since.
