Default Acceleration Issues

Here's the problem. I had an issue around 30 mph where I give it gas and the rpms shoot up to 3-3.5k but the truck never accelerates. Two days later I had a coil go out and a p1233 code. The fpdm was all corroded and I changed it but never fixed the problem. People have said it's the tcc and the transmission, but any insight would help.

Check your transmission fluid level. Drive the truck for 15 minutes in city traffic. Stop on level ground and place the shift lever in Park. Let idle for 20 seconds. Shift to R and repeat the 20 seconds. Shift to N and repeat. Shift to D and repeat. Shift to 2 and repeat. Shift to 1 and repeat. Then shift back to N, set the parking brake, and check the transmission dip stick on the passenger side of the engine. Add fluid (Mercon V) through the dip stick tube as required. DO NOT overfill.
