Default AC Drain clean out

2006 XLT Scab 5.4 95k mi. I know there are about 15 threads stating the fix to the problem using the elbow. But I have searched to find a way to ensure the drain is clear of debris. With no avail can someone point me in the right direction. I have been able to get a finder in and have felt no debris, but i can't get very far back. Is that the furthest i need to go? My floor is soaking wet. It had probably 2 gallons of water in the padding and carpet. (we had a week of 100+ heat index, used my AC a lot). It seems like with that much water the drain is clogged not just improperly draining.

On a side note was there an option on these truck for vinyl floors in place of carpet? I would much rather have vinyl floors anyway and given the amount of water I bet mold my grow. Can anyone point me to a company that sells vinyl flooring. Would like it to match my interior (tan) but not required.

Thank you in advance!

Do you see anything dripping from your A/C drain on the firewall while A/C running ? 2 gallons of water is a lot ... sounds like an exterior leak..ie rain getting in.

I havn't tested it yet, started working on it last night. We haven't had rain in 10+ days. I'm gonna run the AC on lunch today and try to confirm the AC problem.

The factory vinyl flooring was black, and had padding underneath. So it would hold water too

Update I confirmed it was the AC leaking into the carpet. Does anyone know just how far back the pipe goes from the firewall? My concern is that leaves maybe clogging the pipe further back than I can get with my fingers. is there a feasible way to flush it out from inside the cab?

Can you get to the drain exit and attach a shop vac and suck out anything?

Update: could not for the life of me get either the Ford elbow referenced in other post or a similar part from o'reilly's on the drain. Even boiling it for 10 mins to soften it up didn't help. So instead I used a piece of 3/4 heater hose and a pipe clamp. It sticks straight out, but it's closer to the back of the motor. I don't think heat from the motor will affect it any but will keep an eye on it in the coming days.

While I was waiting for the engine to cool i painted the lower body black. Had a lot of rock chips and i hated the gold look. Would have rather went the lineX route but don't have that kind of spare cash so this will do for now. Appreciate the help yall.
