Google ABS sensor testing. I believe a good sensor should read between 19k & 21k but double check. I know it can't be open or shorted. Sounds like your abs is confused about wheel speed. Do not rule defective new part. Also make sure sensor plug isn't contaminated with water or oil.

If its open its bad. To verify compare reading with your front sensors.

Nope Advance!!! And its a PITA to exchange. I bought over the internet from them. I had to return it to a local store. Then reorder it over the internet, cause stores didnt have it, so its going to take 4 days to get it in again. And they were trying to get me to pay a second shipping charge for a defective part. Didn't end up having to pay the extra, but it took some complaining.

Damn. I was gonna say don't ever get any electronic sensors from autozone. Every single one I've gotten this past year was defective. I just suck it up and spend a little more money for motorcraft. My rear abs sensor was $150 from ford.
