Had the ABS light come on Saturday. Cranked it up again this morning, no light. Cranked it up again this afternoon, ABS light was back on. I thought I'd take it by and get it scanned to get a code and indicate where the problem was. I went to two places and neither one could read the code without the check engine light being on.

Is there another way? Do I need to keep seeking out a "better" scanner? Is there a way to make the digital readout give me the code?
