Default ABS light and brake light started at same time 08 KR

Question re ABS and brake light illuminated on dash.

Have a ‘new to me’ 08 cc KR 5.4. Neither of these lights were on for initial couple months and several hundred miles. Yesterday I was “testing” my parking brake. It didn’t fully work, tried depressing and releasing pedal several times. Brake never worked properly, but no warning light came on. Next day after driving several miles, while sitting idling, both of these light came on at same time. Figure it must be related to my “testing” of e brake. NO CODES found on my edge monitor. FWIW I crawled down and manually depressed the switch to rule out possible issue with pedal not retracting enough to engage switch.

?? looking for tips re: diagnosing vs using parts cannon on the e brake switch ??

Update:

realized that cruise control and reverse lights also not working. The. Found fuse 14 blown:

14 10 Digital Transmission Range (DTR) sensor, Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) relay, Deactivator switch, A/C cycling switch, Heated Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve,
ABS module, Reversing lamps switch, Auxiliary relay box 1

Questions:

1) my abs light had been on for the front crash sensor. Inspecting that shows that the pins and connector were totally corroded, one pin totally gone. Can this affect fuse 14?

2) if fuse 14 blows again, what should my next steps be to isolate the issue (i need to dig up threads vaguely recall on heated pcv failures)

Update:

disconnected battery

disconnected bad crash sensor (have one in order)

reinstalled parking sensor/switch

replaced blown fuse, reconnected battery, lights were out/off. Idled for about 2-3 mins, then blew same fuse again

Looking for suggestions on next steps?

Update and possible solution:

looked up heated pcv info and located and disconnected the wire connector. Replaced fuse. Lights went out again, and have stayed off - at least for a few mile test drive. Will post back if any further issues arise.

Now will search for diy info on replacing pcv heater. If anyone has any advice or links please post up. Thanks.
