Default abs light

ive searched and haven't came up with much.
it just started today, my abs light will come on after about 5-10min of driving and stays on till i shut the truck off.
it doesn't affect the braking or anything, just annoying.

what should i check to eliminate the problem? all my brake lights work, and its not low on fluid.

Go to AutoZone or advanced and have them do a scan. More than likely it's a speed sensor. If it's the front, holler at me. I might have one I'll sell you for half the cost of a new one.

I actually had this issue, so I took it to a repair shop while the truck was running so they could get the codes because every time the truck shuts off it would never read as any errors but long story short it ended up being the front passenger side sensor was bad so they replaced it and haven't had any problems since. But from I was told it's nothing to be alarmed about since all it supposedly does is regulate the speed.

It does not Regulate speed... your gas pedal does that.. it sense's your speed.

Well that's what it does then, I just know that was the fix for me.
