Default Abs Code B1596

Hi I have a 2008 F150 and my abs light is on, I ran the codes and got b1296: replace the LF abs sensor and B1596: Repair Continuous Codes. I replaced the entire hub assembly and the abs sensor cleared the codes and I can't seem to get rid of the B1596: Repair Continuous Codes code. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I beleive B1596: Repair Continuous Codes code is when the ABS system tries to complete its self test of the system...do not know why it's not in your case.. the 1296 code is gone now that you replaced the sensor..correct ?

Yes the 1296 code is gone. That is what is confusing me the B1596 is the only code that remains. Thanks

Hey varmint killer where did you find the short in the wiring to fix the problem with the abs light? I have fixed one broken wire on the rear sensor and checked all the wires going back to the abs module and not found anything yet, i'm sure they have a common place for things like this to happen, mine was just a few feet from the rear sensor, but that only fixed one problem now I could use a little help finding the other one. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
