Default ABS and BRAKE light problem

I have a 2005 Screw 5.4 xlt, has 69700 miles on it and never had any problems, until recently. After changing the front brakes 3 weeks ago I noticed a couple days later the ABS light and the Brake light is on and wont go off, and when first starting out driving in the morning i get a horrible high pitch squeal from the front passenger brakes when applying them. Any ideas on what could be the problem.

go get it scanned. at autozone or a place like that. Mine did that and I had to get a wheel bearing replaced.

(cowboy) My buddy had a mac tools scanner he put on it and it didnt show any codes. Do you think the scanners at auto zone or advance auto would show somthing?

(HiOffcr) Spoke with a guy who works with electrical equipment on cars and said that it may be that dirt or brake dust got into the wheel speed sensor and that i should remove it and clean it then it should shut the lights off any further ideas?

not sure... I know my edge evo didn't show the code either. Took it to my mechanic and his scanner showed the code. He said that my scanner was only for the engine and powertrain. But its worth a shot its not like they are going to charge you to scan it.

Ya no doubt, ill run it up there to the parts store and see if it produces any codes. If not ill have to see if my buddies that work at the local transit authority can bring home a scanner to use that might clear them codes. someone also told me that if i drained that battery and needed to jump my truck it might throw the lights on and in that would shut my abs off. thanks for the input
