Default 80mm Throttle body

Is there a big difference from a 73mm throttle body (which my truck has) to a 80mm throttle body? Is there that much more air going in or ia it not worth the 300 i will pay

How much of a difference did you notice and did it make you get better or worse fuel mileage?

I am pretty sure you will have to get a tune for it to reach its maximum potential. I run a gryphon, and when I am filling out a custom tune, it has in there if I upgraded the throttle body.
I too was looking at getting the BBK 80mm... but at 300 bucks, its a hard thing to get, esp when it gets a max of about 5hp on the higher RPMs on a N/A truck like mine, I think more like 8-10 on trucks like yours roush
