mugs? and i dont mind having mine with the stock 3.73 for now. Only problem I have dealt with is that during the summer months and temps around 85-90 the tranny would be up around 180-185. Going into winter soon, im not going to worry about the temps. Come spring i will either have to add the Superduty cooler or do the 4.88 gears. My power situation isnt a big deal to me so I could care less...just dont want my tranny to blow up in smoke.

Mugs, haha kinda slang word for thing. And I've been hearing a weird humming noise coming from back there, if I open my power sliding window while going about 60 I can hear it good. I need to check the oil in my diff tho.

haha..never heard that used like that..interesting. Yea your humming sounds like the rear diff...im changing my fluids in the front and rear diffs this weekend. Ive immersed them too many times to chance the winter weather.

Thats what I thought because I havent seen you comment much. Its understandable. I just knew you have the 6 + 3 combo. A bunch of us have the 6 + 2 but not what you have.
