Thats sweet! I see you went with the black kit..i got the silver one myself. I would have had to wait an extra week to get the black so i was like nahh i dont care that much...I just got new MOOG coil springs to go on my new 8" BDS struts. I painted the springs red to match my truck.Im going to be installing them this weekend...So how do you have an 8" BDS kit if you have the bilsteins? You going with a 2" spacer?

Also I am fairly certain you take off that trans bar you got...it looks just like the piece you take off and throw away when you install the new lower crossmember.

I do plan on using a 3in spacer! And sweet I was wanting to paint my coils too! I hope it don't crack or fade real fast because of all the compression and expansion of the coil! And nope this is the cross bar that actually mounts to the trans! It's where the rear of the kicker braces or front track bars connect to in back! Does BDS actually have an 8in strut!? I was under the impression they only had a 6in strut (just like bilstien) but they also included a 2in steel spacer! Which is about the set up I'm going to end up with anyways!!

Yea they have a 6" strut option (which i have now) and the 8" strut option ( that i ordered). The part number for the 8" struts are 98180. So you got the 6" kit with the strut spacers and just got the bilsteins and a 3" spacer? If you get from BDS, you can only get a 4" kit, 6" kit with either strut spacers or 6" struts, and a 8" kit that comes with the 8" struts.

If I were you, if you are gunna do 9" up front, I would get the 3" readylift blocks to even out the back and replace your stock blocks. The springs are 5.5" inches so if you add the extra 1" you will be pretty much level. 9" up front and 6.5" out back.

Heres the red springs...if you do them, scuff the springs with some fine grit sandpaper. Then use a self-etching primer, then a couple coats of paint, and a couple coats of clear. They come out real good but I hope they dont destroy them when installing the struts in the compression machine.
