SI/DO (Single In/ Dual Out) so yes one inlet and two outlets. The stock piping is 2 1/2 inches in diameter so that's what most people go with. As for tips there are many choices. I suggest no smaller then 1/2 in bigger than the size of pipe you use, so if you go with 2 1/2 inch pipe than no smaller than a 3 inch tip.

Do you mean slant cut as the ones pictured, or straight cut or are you referring to rolled tips? I'm at work now so don't have full internet access, no shopping sites, but if no one has added more to this I will add some links later. How loud do you want your exhaust?

I like the slant cut but the rolled tips that are slanted look good too. I called a shop today and they quoted me for 350 for single in/ dual out. I would have to call back though because that was without me telling them what kind of muffler and tips. All they asked was what kind of vehicle and what kind of exhaust

I suggest buying the muffler online an then have a shop meld it on might be cheaper. I Have the magnaflow 14" casing si/do and there is some drone but it isn't horrible and it sounds nice while taking off. If you go for loud and sound then I'd suggest flowmaster but if you also want one that is loud and helps the truck breath better then magnaflow is good because it's a straight through muffler.
