Default 5100 Bilstins

Are 5100 Bilstins the same as a level kit. And if so what is the size/height equivalent?

They are adjustable from 0-2" I think. And yes they will level out ride out and add a better ride over a level spacer

I had a 2 1/2" spacer on for about a year and found Bilsteins on sale-got them. They are set for 2" lift, may be a little stiffer than the stock ride, but over all I like them.

Just put them on my truck and love it!!! Should grab a pair. Won't be disappointed. Check out my pics. Lifted it 2 inches and rides better than before.

I have the 5100's for 6 inch lift and LOVE them! Immediate improvement over stock! Handles amazing and rides awesome with the heavy 20x9's and 35x12.50's...

I have 5100s set on stock height. I just wanted a better shock and they are great. Handle empty and loaded better plus feels more controlled under heavy braking.

I have the adj 5100 and it felt so stiff that your teeth would shatter going over the littlest of bumps. Took them out to adjust back to stock height and added some spacers and good lord it's a night and day diff. Soooo much better now.

Just my 2 cents.

I have stock struts with a Daystar level and load range E tires. I find the ride to be harsh. I am interested in the Bilsteins but I'm more concerned with ride quality than handling.

They might be a little harsher vs worn out stock struts. But its good for the truck.
