Default 4x4 5spd

I personally have a '99 4.6ltr 5spd 4X4, I love taking her out for a spin. She is my daily driver and I have personally put 70,000 on it. Just had the clutch replaced (along with flywheel) but she has over 130,000 miles on her.
I do have one problem though, i have recently been to the lake and put a 24' bluewater boat in the lake a few times in and out. The ramp was a steep one and it was definatly too much for my (brand new) clutch to handle. Is that a normal thing or is it possible new clutch installed is falty somehow?
i took it into 4X4 low and it had no problems getting the boat out of the water.

Looked through the ford towing specs... I was not able to find an f150 5.4L w/ manual listed anywhere in the years available '02-09. They DO exist in f250 form.

in 04 when the new body stlye 150's had just come out there was a heritage 04 for sale on the lot. it was a 4x4 single cab short bed v8 with a 5spd. Im not sure which v8 it was but i seriously considered buying it. It was loaded as well. XLT with all possible options. It was a very clean truck, wish i had bought it!

mitsi or mazda even the zf trannys were all crap in the 5 speeds.the autos are much better in late model fords, i would like a 5 spd as well in my truck, but after so many crappy 5 spd issues over the years i am ok with an auto,my first in a ford .i have 4 fords now and have owned over 50 through the years.the 5 spds suck the old np 435`s and t18,t19 were great 4 speeds.my 90 ranger now has a np435 in front of a 205 t/case and behind a 5.8fi motor.its for wheeling not towing.
