Last night I was coming home from hockey and punched it on the highway and it flat faced and started flashing the check engine light. Not sure what's going on there. It used to do that before the new coils.
At first I was like yay! Then I was like ahhhhh :/ hopefully you just didnt get the injector connector on there good enough and thats why

Coils are new, with the plugs. Check engine light has been on forever. It's got 290k, I shouldn't even be complaining lol.

Flashing check engine light means mis-fire. Make sure your coils are fully seated and check their electrical connections.

Unbranded Chinese coils.... lol Actually! is there a way to test coils with a Multi Meter? I have my old ones and am curious which ones were bad.

The unbranded Chinese coils usually work just fine, but there's the occasional dud.
