5.4 Fx4 oil cooler?
I just recently got a new engine on my 04 f150 fx4 and they attached a universal letter sayig that if your vehicle has any oil cooler than it needs to be replaced or the warranty will be voided. Does this truck have an oil cooler? If so where is it located? Thanks alot!

None of the 04 to 08 F150's cam from the factory with an engine oil cooler that I'm aware of; some models have a transmission oil cooler, and some have a power steering oil cooler.
If it has an engine oil cooler, it was most likely installed by a previous owner (assuming you are not the original owner), and would use a "sandwich" type adaptor at the oil filter to route the send/return lines to the oil cooler that would typically be located in front of the radiator, or down low in front of the truck.
The reason they require you to remove the oil cooler is because the engine that is being replaced may have put metal pieces in this cooler when it failed. Good shops that do engine replacement will flush the oil cooler (if equipped) prior to a new engine install to prevent any potential metal from the blown engine to enter into the oil passages of the new engine. However, new engine oil coolers are not that expensive, so replacement of the cooler itself is not a bad idea.
