Default 4x4 probs!!! Help.

I already replaced the actuator, cv shaft and hub on my 2004 f.150 Lariat and I hit one mud hole on a back road and it started making the damn clicking noises again. It only clicks where I apply to the accelerator? It is the front driver side by he way.

How can I stop the clicking? Can I take the actuator out and get around like that. If it's cheap enough I will just replace what I need but if now I will just stop the clicking and still drive my truck until I can get it fixed.

There's a reason why the original hubs and actuators went bad. You need to find that reason. This thread will help you diagnose the problem:

For now unplug the electrical connector on the solenoid. It's located on the firewall beside the battery. This will lock the hubs full time. Gas mileage will drop, but you'll save the new hubs and actuators from damage. Leave the vacuum lines connected so moisture and dirt do not get in the lines.

Trouble shoot with a Vacuum pump... you can barrow one from your local parts store.
