I would not drive in 4WD on pavement and I recommend not "pushing" the truck during a mechanical malfunction (while the "banging" is occuring).
Yea I can't figure it out either. And I don't normally drive it in 4wd on pavement ever but it was in a straight line at speeds below what they say is ok. I tried it a few more times and couldn't replicate the problem. I've changed the driver side iwe and I dint think that's the problem. But when I had my father come down to see if he could tell where the bang was conning from ( it was hard to tell for sure inside the cab) I couldn't get it to do it again. Scratchin my head over this one
