Exclamation 4X2 even when in 4X4

Help!!!I was in some light mud that was covering the road and wanted to play a little in my truck this morning but when I flipped the fun switch (the 4X4) I got nothing. I don't even know where to start with this one. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction? 2004 FX4 Crew

If you gave it plenty of time to engage, which I sure you did. I would check relay's first then vacuum lines. Had that problem with my 250 and it turned out I had a cracked relay.
