Hello i have a 2008 ford f150 4x4 4.6l, i have a edge programmer and a k&n intake for performance what mods have all of the 4.6l owners out there done to get max hp. im talking to all 2004 to 2008 i need a horse power gain before i decide to put a 6.2 in my truck/ im going to lift it soon and gears

This is a frequently asked and I always give the same answer. It all depends on how much money you want to spend. You are going to get the most power with forced induction but that is an expensive route. Your not gonna see much power gain from a free flowing exhaust but it works well with a CAI.

ok thanks i m just wondering what 4.6l people have under the hood i have seen cams and shorty headers for the 4.6 just wondering if it helps enough to forget that i m a 4.6 guy and not a 5.4 guy

Normally I've seen people do exhaust,intake,and a chip that'll usually bring you close to a 5.4 if not over and be fast as hell off the line

all i have had done is k&n intake and tru duals... what kind of mileage do you get ak4.6? i was thinking about getting an edge

i have tuner, cai, catback, headers, UD pulleys, and efans. incredibly responsive and pretty quick. also have 4.88 gears which dont add hp but do multiply it at the wheels. the 4.88 give me a slightly lower then stock final drive ratio since i also have 37" tires.

plan to turbo in a couple years

I am getting about 16 mpg and highway i have got up 21mpg

Can you feel a good increase from the ud pullys and what brand are headers
