Default 34's on a 2.5 level

I've been looking into getting the nitto terra grapplers 295/70r18 on my fx4 but I'm wondering if they will fit with a 2.5 level I herd it's not good to go with a 3" bc the shock.. Also would I need some kind of stabilizer with the levling kit?

They'll fit. I'm running 35/12.50r18s taller and wider than the tires you are considering and mine got fine with a 2.5in level

Most times you can fit 35x12.50 with a leveling kit without trimming, depending on the truck and wheel set up your running you will have to trim slightly but should be able to fit them with a leveling just fine

They rub the sway bar very very slightly at full lock turning right. No inner fender trimming at all

I'm running the exact set up. 4x4 295/70/18 trails with 2.5" level. No rubbing/trimming at all for me. I love the look and ride.

whatever level kit you go with make sure its metal. the rubber/urethane ones tends to settle after time.

How is the ride quality of the trial grapplers tho? I keep reading reviews 3 say good 3 say horrible... I will use them mostly around 30-40miles a day and highway half the time
