Default 3" leveling kit

First off,I am not asking for your opinions about looks. I want my truck higher in the front. I like the look.
I have heard that with a 3" kit,the suspension geometry is off. Is this so? What will it hurt/wear out? I am putting 285/70/17s on it.Stock wheels.

Please do not offer your opinions about trucks sitting higher in the front. I DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU THINK!!!!

it stresses your cv's and your ball joints dont last very long from what ive heard from some people, have your measured the difference in hieght, some trucks only need 2.5" to be higher in the front

Mine is 2wd. It seems like 2.5" will make it level from measuring. I want a slight reverse rake.

what year is it, i think atom said on here one time that the 06-08's had like one less leaf in the pack of leaf springs than the 04-05's had, since its 2wd i dont see it being too bad, maybe stress on the tierods ends among other things, i dont know how much the geometry must be off before it really hurts something, hey man its your truck you want the 3in go for it

If you want it down right and don't want to rebuild the front end suspension down the road go this route........... You can adjust it to any hieght you want from 1 inch to 3 inches.

Also you can go with the Bilstein Leveling shock .........

This is exactly what you would want because you are going for the PRE+Runner setup and look and those tires will fit no problem

Pay now or pay later your ball joints will be destroyed with a 3in leveling kit.

Here is an option for you. If you decide you want to go with a shorter level kit just adjust it: http://www.proryde.com/2004_2008_FOR...p/74-3000f.htm
