HELP!!! so i have a 2wd 2006 king ranch and i got in it and started in today and a 4x4 low light came on i dont even know where to start looking for a problem

If you have a 2wd truck I doubt there is a problem. The light is just a malfunction. Try unplugging your battery for about 10 minutes... If nothing else is going haywire it should be okay.

Maybe it grew a transfercase and some front axle parts lucky you.

Or just a bad light.

Could it be possible that the truck is wired for 4x4 but never put it in?

Since our trucks are mass produced with same interior and such you do have the 4x4 wiring harness and the wiring but that's it. No 4 wheel drive.

Batt is fine the only thing that I know of wrong with the truck right now is the starter is goin out
