Default 275/70/18 Wranglers

Anyone running this tire?
Its time for me to change the stock tires that are 275/65/18. Tire rack has the Wrangler in this 70 size for $184.
Seems to be a reasonable option for the money.
Anyone have these on stock FX4 wheels?

Was your issues with their car or truck tires? I always buy Michelin tires for my cars. I've been using them for years and have purchased several sets. I tried their truck tires and wasn't happy at all. My 02 F150 came with the Wrangler ATS tires and I loved them, great ride but wasn't the best tire for traction in the rain. I had 56K on them with lots of tread left. I am going to put Goodyear's on this truck when I wear these BFGoodrich tires out. A guy at my work just got a set of the Silent Armors. So far he likes them. From my experience Goodyear makes a great truck tire. I am not a fan of their car tires though.

What we need is an A/T tirer that doesnt pick up rocks and put them into the paint. I have Toyo open country's A/T and they pick everything up. My friend had nitto grapler A/Ts and they did the say thing. Its hard to find a good tire that is good off road and on. That doesnt fling rocks. IMO

It just seems that any new tire is prone to throwing a lot of rocks till they get a couple thousand miles on them. Or maybe I just get used to it by then.

My question is what tire originally came on my vehicle?
'04 Lariat 4x4. The tire tag on the inside door of my gas lid is not the same tire on my vehicle, should it be?

It either came with
BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A 265/60/18
BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A 275/65/18
Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 275/65/18

What wheels and tire are currently on your truck?

Default current tires

Current tires - BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A P265/65R17

Gas cap tag P275/65R18

I find this sort of irritating. I bought it used.

Are the wheels aftermarket or OEM? When I was shopping for my truck last year I went to a dealer to see the truck I was taking with them about through the net. When I got there I noticed it had the wrong wheels on it. It was a Lariat and the window sticker showed the right wheels but for some reason it had different wheels on it, they were 17s too I though maybe they swapped them to sell some other truck.

When my wife had her ford focus, It had cougar emblems in the center of the hubcaps. Before I bought my 04 lariat, I was at a different dealership looking at an FX4. It was the only one they had left on the lot and it had xlt wheels on it. Since the truck I was trading was an FX4, I noticed right away that it had the wrong wheels on it. I questioned the salesman on it and he went directly to the dealer owner who checked into the problem while I was there.
