Default -25 wheel offset ?

This is my first post been looking for awhile just not posting.Anyway I have a question I was hoping I could get some help with, here goes.I'm planning on getting a 6" lift either rough country or procomp and Ive been looking around at wheels.Ive been told I will need -12 or -6 offset.Ive found a set of Devino 349 wheels that I like but don't know if they will work or not. Here is the info on the wheels 18x10 -25 offset and 4.50 backspace. What is the difference in -12 and -25 offset and will it or the wheel being 10"wide give me problems? thanks for any hep or advise you can give me.

they will work they gonna stick out a pretty good bit. here's a pic of mine when i had 20x10 rockstars -24 offset to give you an idea how much they stick out. you will have to trim the valence a little that is with 35 12.50 toyos and a 6 inch fabtech

If you go with the lift they will be awesome. If you just level it stick with 33s. With a six inch lift the low offset is usually required to clear the new components.

-12 and -25 will clear everything fine.

It's measured in millimeters. So -25 is 13 millimeters further out than -12.

You can see that from the pictures above. There is a guy somewhere around here with a 6 inch lift and 35s but with stock rims and I think it looks goofy with the tires inside the fenders while sitting so high up.

A guy a work has a similar lift on a Dodge with something like -40 to - 50 offset and I think it looks absolutely killer.

I'd go with -25 myself.

what does a -6 offset look like? the rims i want only have a negetive offset of -6, the rest is 0 or positive.
would a + offset look good?

A 0 offset will cause your tire to stick out a quarter to half an inch depending on rim and tire width. It could even be flush with the fender.

I've got a -12 with 11.5 inch wide tires. They stick out about an inch or a little more. With -6 offset it will stick out 6 millimeters less.

A positive offset is what you have stock. It's going to be less wide. As a rough guess a +40 ish offset is what the stock tires use? I might be wrong but I think I've read that.

I'll show you a picture of my setup, but, if you tell me the size of the tires you want I'll tell you pretty accurately how far your rims will stick out with a certain offset. That's going to be key so I know the width of the rim and width of the tire.

right now i have 35x12.5x18 on my truck with stock rims.
im wantin to get the mamba m3 rims at sixe 18x9 so i dont have to buy new tires. my tires now stick out about 1/4 inch but i have 1/4 inch spacers on.
i have the larger 2in. bushwacker pocket style fender flares on my truck and im wantin my tires to stick out flush or almost flush with them.
i only found the rims with either -6, 30 or 12 offset.
