2011 F150 Engine Line-up Details
I posted on this issue about a month ago and it looks like all of the details are available on the new engine minus fuel economy. Thought that it was very interesting and wanted to spread the word.

It's funny that the 5.0 power has been downgraded from the mustang but that probably means that factory mustang bolt-ons will get you back to that 400hp number. Kindof the same as the early '90s 5.0's.

Posted practically an identical thread in the General section the other day. Here's a good article from Mike Levine from pickuptrucks.com.

Indeed. Ford has been getting pretty watchful over modifications, especially on their cars with one or more turbochargers attached to them. Want to chip your super-duty? *BAM* So long, warranty.

Props to MHC for a better article... I guess you get credit for posting it first as well. haha... The issue with voiding of the warranties: you can't really blame them. I don't at least. They don't spend all of that R&D money running countless engines to their limits to have everyone and their brother jack with them and still be expected to hold up their warranty. Mods are great but they come at a cost.

Oh, and I hear you on why Ford doesn't want people modding their rides and expecting a warranty for blowing crap up.
