What exactly is the point of it. Its not gonna make your engine suck more air or give you more power.

How do you know for fact that an aftermarket product that will allow for more airflow will not give you more power. Have you experimented with multiple MAF sensors. I just asked a question if anyone has replaced theres and if so did they see any differnece. That is exactly the point, again has anyone replaced their MAF sensor with an aftermarket MAF sensor and if you have did you see any difference.

The MAF sensor tells the pcm how much air is being sucked in so the computer knows how much fuel to send. Its not gonna make the engine suck more air. I wasn't trying to be rude just tying to help you out.

Did you mean aftermarket modification MAF, or oem replacement. Turkey was right, the Mass Air Flow sensor just measures the air flow to allow through the intake before the throttle body, to allow the pcm to adjust accordingly. I have seen larger mafs, presumably for a larger airflow. Those are not needed for naturally aspirated engines.

Help me out with this one, I don't recognize what the CC stands for.

Thanks for the replies, I just abreiveated Crew Cab with CC. I was just interested if any one had done a swap. I understand how a MAF works. The question still remains that has not been answered has anyone tried replacing the OEM with an aftermarket and if you did, did you see any change, or it did not make any difference.
