Default 2008 5.4 refuses to start please help

Engine just died while driving home. Hit some washboard ruts kinda hard and it just died. Engine will crank over fine...just will not start.

Here is what I have done.
1) tried to start with starting fluid.....nothing
2) replaced crank sensor....nothing
3) got mad and had wife crank while I sprayed A LOT of starting fluid. After about a 1/4 can it fired up. Would not run very good....just barely idled, as i continue to spray starting fluid to it. pumping accelerator did not help, it just barely idled. It ran enough to pull 2 codes....both the same code P061B, and P061B with a small p and d next to it.
4) Replaced fuel pump....nothing
5) Replaced fuel pressure module...nothing

My research on P061B is something with transmission so I do not understand.

I see no test port for fuel pressure testing so I have not tested that, but now its a new fuel pump.....

Given the amount of starting fluid needed to start (almost 1 hole can, 1/4 can just to get it fired up and the rest of the can for about 2 min of running)....could the throttle body butterfly be stuck shut?

Please help I am at a loss!

If plugs and coils were bad it should not have started on starting fluid....right?

I'm not sure... I've never had a sudden issue like that. You did mention it was running rough and wouldn't rev higher. I would at least check them

Running rough on starting fluid....a lot of it. Would not rev over 1000 rpm even with accelerator floored. Almost seems like it has no air.....

I would replace the fuel pump module again. Or at least check the connection.

It's definitely a fuel or air issue if starting fluid got it to run.. A new throttle body and TPS sensor might be the issue if your getting a transmission code. As you have already speculated, I would agree that its a good place to start...
If if cranks with no fuel smell following a long crank, then you may be spot on with the throttle body issue.
That, or there is a loose or bad connection with your fuel pump or FPDM... (This would explain how the ruts in the road caused the current condition.)

Did you check to see if the inertia switch went off by chance.

The inertia switch button was pushed....did not click or anything...I do not know how to test it for proper operation.....other than bypassing it all together.
