Default 2007 Lariat Automatic Shifter Light

It appears that my light that makes my gear indicators light up has burnt out but I'm not sure how to get in and replace it. Has anyone tried to do this? I haven't found any screws or latches to let me get to the bulb.

Thanks,
Bubba

It is the floor shift (automatic) that is right in front of the center console.

Ok, its real easy to get to and change. You have to lift off the center section of the console, where the cup holders and shifter are. Just grab it and give it a good yank, it'll pop right off. The light bulb is in a twist in connector at the bottom of the gear selector plastic. You'll see the wires for it, just twist it counter clockwise and it comes out. The bulb just pulls out.....its that easy!

Here's a useful link on "how to."

If you want a visual I have pictures in my build thread from when I changed mine. However, I couldn't find them on a direct page to inform you, so you would have to search (). Good luck, it's fairly simple.
