Default 2007 F150 Steering - Not Shaft

Hey guys, the steering in my truck is heavy is the best way i could describe it. Almost like tires are flat.

I do not believe it is the steering shaft as I had that issue before and it doesnt act the same. Applying WD40 to knuckles does nothing. Also, it is not hard then easy etc...

This happened after truck sat for 8-9 days and went through a snow storm. Shortly before this I put on a new belt and all was working fine.

So, maybe a couple pointed questions.

1. Just any thoughts in general of what my problem is and why you feel that way

2. How can I check performance of rack (meaning, if anyone thinks it is a rack problem how could i perform some tests)

3. Same as #2 but pump. (pump makes no weird noises or the like even when turned stop to stop)

Thanks in advance for and and all responses

Brad

Have you tried bleeding just in case you got air trapped in there?

hey guys will check both but I dont think air as I have not even had the cap off.

The fluid level i would expect some noise especially when turning lock to lock.

Wanted to work on this weekend but rain messed that up. Will update
