I changed my oil this weekend and noticed a leak on the front differential. It looks pretty bad. I'm thinking that may be the cause of my shutter/vibration that happens from a dead stop for 1-2 seconds while accelerating. Does it need to be completely replaced or just needs new gaskets and a fluid change? I'm doing the shocks and struts next week and would like to get this taken care of but pretty novice when it comes to differentials.

Doubt its the front diff making the shudder. Its more likely the the rear diff limited slip or transmission but trans is unlikely also. When was the rear fluid changed?
