Truck is fine at idle and driving only when i pin it, it sometimes misses and loses power and slowly picks up speed, then when it hits a rpm it seems to be OK. The CEL came on tonight , it flashed a bunch of times i was not able to count them since i had to make a turn. The CEL did not stay on. I was able to pull a code P0308 tonight. I have checked the forums and it seems to be alot of ideas why its doing this? It is a COP, plug, injector, fuel? Where should i start? What does it mean if the light only flashes and turns off? I read somewhere that if it stays on it has fail its warm up cycles 3x? not sure what that means either. Any help would be great!
Truck has 160,000 km's, plugs or cops have never been touched as far as i know. Also at low speeds when my OD kicks in at low speeds it kinda misses for second as it drops a gear, motor at about 1000 rpm just before it drops a gear.

 

I'd start with the plugs. Then the fuel filter, then the cops, and finally the injectors.

 

Change the plugs. I just went through a bunch of troubleshooting to find a miss and it was directly related to a spark plug issue. Sounds like an easy cure.

 

just changed the COP and its all good, going to do the plugs in the next couple of weeks, should be done anyways.
