Every 3 weeks theres another guy asking "what fits", "what it takes", etc to replace a 5.4 triton with something else.

Has even ONE person on here done that? If you have to ask, do you have the ability?

NOPE.

LS swap it!!!! Oops....wrong forum LOL

To be fair, they're probably thinking that the f150 platform is like Honda's where you can swap in a lot of different 4 cylinders with a simple kit. unfortunately, this is not the case with these vehicles. 3 engine and transmission choices. that's it lol

Just kidding, but I had two of them before the rust got to them.

Great article and pics. do you have any pics of the scout?
Thanks Bernie,
The Scout was a super rust bucket and slow as poop with that SD-33.

I couldnt find a pic of the Scout yet, here is the Jeep.

Photo shoot was around 2006 with SD-33

Around 2007 I swapped in the Cummins.

Motor mounts I made, using factory Tator truck liquid filled mounts:

Push your oil change intervals to 10K and use 20-50. Pretty soon everyone will think its a diesel.
