Default 2004 FX4 Body Control Module

I’m trying to find the correct BCM for a 2004 FX4 Triton 5.4L electronic shift F-150. Purchased one at O’Reilly and turned in the original core. New one didn’t match - pins were different on the new one as compared to original. Different plug configuration. Anyone have any experience replacing the BCM in this model?

I thought our trucks didn't have a BCM. That didn't come about until after 2008.

I'm curious about what you removed, and where it was located at.

yea...04 didn't have a BCM, they didn't come out until the 2011 MY.

about the only thing i can remotely think of that you removed is the main fuse box in the cab of the truck, with the soldered in relays

Are you talking about the BSM? Behind the rear seat?

BSM? Body Security Module? (For door keypad locks and PATS, I assume)

I would love to know where the module is located.it is not behind the fuse box ,not beside the steering Colum ,not behind the driver side kickplate !

On the back wall of the cab for most models, or in the back corner of the cab on some models
