2004 Engine Replacement HELP!

I'm looking to replace my 2004 XLT F150 4X4 5.4 Trition engine. I've run across some nice 2005-2007 5.4 engines, but I'm uncertain if the are interchangeable. Which years are interchangeable?

04/07 5.4 (v3)!!!!!!! be care on 04 engines there is some v2s and come v3s

The 08s have a better head design with one piece sparkplugs instead of the two piece that are on 04-07 5.4 3V.
