Default 20” to 17” wheels?

What’s up everyone.

i have a new to me 2007 screw lariat with the stock 20” wheels.

I'm wanting to change them up (because I hate them) but I’m thinking about going with something smaller than 20. What’s the smallest wheel I can run on this vehicle? I know back when I had a sport Trac I couldnt go under a certain size due to the size of the brakes so I’m wondering if something like a 17” wheel would cause any issues?

Also what the offset front/back should be on a 17” wheel

17” is the smallest wheel you can run on these trucks.

anything smaller than 17" will not fit over the brake calipers

And 17s definitely fit your lariat. I bought mine with some 17"x10 moto mags, 4.44 back set, with 32" tires and stock suspension
